Now here’s a meandering story if ever there was one. While I was in the process of passing out information about this evening, Cal commented: “you are way too spam protective. it’s unhealthy”. He thinks that I spend too much time worrying about spam, and it discourages people from contacting me. This conversation continued over ICQ:
Mo: what makes you think I want people to contact me without invitation?
Cal: you’re so defensive
Mo: i know. i’m happy on my hill, throwing stones at passers by.
Cal: what a great analogy
Mo: it’s a system that has worked for thousands of years.
